NorthPoint Medical Associates is a family-owned clinic at 1301 Southern Boulevard, 2nd Floor in the South Bronx, run by Dr. Anele Slezinger and Dr. Albert Slezinger. Primary care, immigration physicals, PrEP and sexual health — all in one office, in English and Spanish.
Our story
Dr. Anele Slezinger and Dr. Albert Slezinger, AAHIVM, have cared for Bronx families for more than a decade from the same office on Southern Boulevard. The practice is family-owned, which is the plain reason patients keep seeing the same two faces.
The office was built to handle what this neighborhood actually needs in one place: the annual physical, the diabetes follow-up, the child's sports form, the immigration medical exam, the PrEP prescription, confidential testing. No referral across the borough for routine things.
The goal has not changed: a welcoming place where patients get exceptional care, stay as healthy as possible, and live better for it.
A sister and a brother own and run this practice. There is no rotating roster of locums — the physician who sees you this year is the one who saw you last year.
English and Spanish are both spoken by the physicians and the front desk, so nothing about your care depends on bringing a translator.
